Target & CVS~Quick Runs

Target trip yesterday.  Total spent was $1.78.

What I bought:
1-Merona hobo purse
2-OFF! Clip on
1-GE Energy Saver light bulb
1-Crest 3D Vivid White toothpaste
1-Welch's Fruit Snacks (I'm addicted!!!)

Total before discounts and coupons:  $28.98

Coupons used:
1-$5 off Merona purse Target Store Q
1-BOGO OFF! Clip on Manufacturer Q
1-$2 OFF! Manufacturer Q
2-$2 OFF! Target Store Q
1-$2 off GE Energy Saver Target Store Q
1-$1 off GE Energy Saver Manufacturer Q
1-$1 off Crest 3D Vivid Target Store Q
1-$1.50 off Crest 3D Vivid Manufacturer Q

The Merona purse was on clearance for $2.50.  The OFF! Clip On was on sale for $7.99 each.  Tax was .86.  Not a bad trip at all.  Target is supposed to reduce the amount of a coupon to match the actual price of the product however, every time I've explained that the coupon needed to be reduced the cashier has looked at me with that glazed over look.  Then they call the cashier manager over and neither one of them knows how to reduce the coupons.  I don't understand why Target's coupon policy states that they need to reduce the coupon down since Target will be reimbursed for the full amount of the coupon!

CVS trip yesterday.  Total paid:  $1.26.

What I purchased:
2-Bags CVS brand Vitamin C cough drops
4-CVS brand toothbrushes
2-Oral B Advantage toothbrushes

Total before discounts and coupons:  $29.85

Coupons used:
4-$1 off CVS brand toothbrush Store Q
1-BOGO Oral B Advantage Manufacturer Q
1-$2 off Oral B Manufacturer Q
$8 ECB (Extra Care Bucks)

The CVS toothbrushes are normally $3.99 and were on sale for $.99 each.  Those cough drops are our favorite to use because we sing in the choir.  I've tried the menthol ones since I have several free bags but they just don't work the same as these.  Also, the CVS brand is our favorite!

Yesterday I got around $50 worth of merchandise for about $4.  Not a bad day at all!

Standing on His promises,
Mrs. Bubba
