I went to Kroger first thing this morning to test my Kingsford Charcoal theory, only to find out that they don't carry Glad freezer bags. I walked out with milk, carrots, 1 Vidalia onion, and a bag of salad. I got my hair done then headed to the other side of town to pick something up. Since I was already out and about I stopped by a different Kroger on the way home only to find out they wouldn't accept my printable coupons because they were free products. You would think that after all this time I would know which coupons Kroger accepts and those they don't. Needless to say, I didn't get to cash in on the Kingsford deal but I did get a big old bag for $5.99. That should last us awhile. I am not going anywhere else today. My shopping trips have been rough these last couple of weeks. I'm hoping that the stores in the area pick up on the fact that more and more people are using coupons and stock up on sale items a little better. Our town is wiped clean of Nivea body wash! :-) I didn't get any yet. Kroger had a few left but they aren't free at Kroger.
So, I'm thinking I should just go back to bed and start over in the morning.
