I went to Publix this morning before heading out to the baseball/softball fields for Upward evaluations and boy, am I glad I did! Publix is running a special on Kellog's cereal for this Saturday and Sunday only. It is 50% off select boxes of Kellog's cereal. Now, my Bubba will go through some Frosted Flakes in the summer time so this was a great thing for me. I enjoy the Mini Wheat in various flavors.
This is the deal I did at Publix this morning:
4 Boxes Frosted Flakes $1.99 each
4 Boxes Mini Wheat Lil Bites $1.94 each
1 Box Kashi Blueberry Cluster $3.79
Coupons:
2 $2 off 2 boxes Mini Wheat Lil Bites
2 $1.50 off 2 boxes Frosted Flakes
1 Free box Kashi Heart to Heart (Vocal Point sent it to me)
1 $3 off $15 purchase Rite Aid
Total before coupons and 50% discount $35.69
Total after coupons and 50% discount $6.10 (includes tax)
I was able to purchase 9 boxes of cereal for $.68 each! I hope to go back tomorrow and pick up a few more boxes but I need to take a good look at the coupons I have left. I got my coupons from various printable coupon websites which I have listed HERE. When I did the actual calculation I was beside myself! The last time I got a killer deal on Kellog's cereal I spent $.71 per box so I beat my record by $.03. :-)

Yes, I too made out pretty good at Publix with their cereal today..My hubby was pretty impressed with my savings..I was never a Publix shopper but now I am their biggest fan..The staff there is awesome as well..They have some awesome coupons in the blinkies...The rice krispie blinkies coupons were a big hit with me today..-Erika Boone
